Incomplete applications will not be considered.
2. A non-refundable processing fee of $50 (money order only) made payable to Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing must accompany the application. Applications received with checks instead of money orders will not be processed.
3. Official High School and/or GED transcripts records. Contact your high school to send an official high school transcript (including class rank and all SAT and standardized test results).
Seniors, please ask that your current classes be listed with any available grades. An official final transcript, showing the date of graduation, must be received in order to complete your file.
Official GED (with scores) must be issued from the State Department of Education.
4. Official transcripts from all colleges and postsecondary institutions attended must be submitted regardless of length of attendance. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated and sent to the School by an approved (NACES) credentialing service.
5. Two references from your school, employer, health or legal professional are required. References from friends and/or family members are not acceptable. Download and print reference forms.
After your application, fee and essay have been received, you will scheduled to take the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills), required of all candidates for admission.
Applicants whose scores meet school requirements will be invited for a personal interview. The Admissions/Promotions Committee will review all completed records and you will be notified of the committee’s decision in writing. The deadline for completion of records for entrance into the school is March 1st.
